Partner enquiries

Internal only

Everything a sponsor or a prospective sponsor asks for arrives here: new business enquiries, prize mix changes, extra stock, and requests that have to be refused. Nothing in this queue is decided by a rule. Each item is read by a person, decided by a person, and the reason is written down and kept with the sponsor record.

Two kinds of request are refused every time, and a person has to do the refusing

  • Anything that asks to reach a particular group of players. By betting frequency, by spend, by risk level, by mood, by anything. tibbi sells reach inside a learning environment, not audiences. The filters do not exist, and the answer does not change if the request comes back de-identified or as a "lookalike" — a segment small enough to be useful is a segment narrow enough to identify someone.
  • Anything that would change a running campaign without publishing the change. Rates that players can already see cannot be moved quietly. An approved change becomes a new rate card in draft, and the campaign keeps running on the old card until the new one is published.

Both of these look reasonable when a partner asks for them, which is exactly why neither is left to a setting. They are written refusals, signed and dated, and they stay on the record so the next person can see the boundary was held rather than assumed.

Top up the $10 voucher stock with 150 codes

ENQ-2026-133 · received 27/07

From Elena Marsh · Riverside Grocers · about the Back to school crate campaign · BOX-RG-02.

"Our stock report says 32 codes are left. We can supply another 150 $10 codes, valid from 10 August and expiring 31 October, so the 2.0% very-rare tier can stay open."

Secure batch expected 30/07 · valid from 10/08/2026 · expires 31/10/2026
Recorded against Riverside Grocers with your name and the time

Does this need a new rate card?

No. More stock on an existing tier does not change the chance of winning it, and the published card stays true. If the tier had run out and closed, the rates would have shifted and a new card would have to be published to players before it applied.

Bring the Northside Books crate live on 1 August

ENQ-2026-130 · received 26/07

From Maya Doyle · Northside Books · record at prospect stage, no partner portal account issued.

"Can we go live on 1 August and send the industry declaration through afterwards? Our compliance person is on leave until the middle of the month."

Sponsor record CSR-2026-021 · draft campaign, not published

Held, not declined. The draft cannot be published while the excluded-industry declaration is outstanding, and the pool rates on the draft do not total 100%. Neither of those is something this queue can waive. The enquiry stays open until both clear, and Northside Books has been told the date is not confirmed rather than left to assume it is.

Decided

Each record keeps the request as it was written, the decision, who made it, the date, and the ground it was decided on. Decisions are not edited afterwards — a change of mind is a new record.

Approved Prize mix

Replace the $50 gift-card tier with a $10 voucher tier at 2.0%

ENQ-2026-127 · received 22/07

From Elena Marsh · Riverside Grocers · Back to school campaign.

"Four $50 cards left out of thirty will not see us to the end of August. We can fund 200 $10 vouchers instead. Happy for the 2.0% tier and the full 80 / 18 / 2 split to be published before it takes effect."

Requested change: very-rare tier from $50 at 1.8% to $10 at 2.0% · standard/rare virtual bands revised to 80% / 18% so the live pool totals 100%

Approved by Tom Whitfield · 24/07/2026. Ground: the reward is a gift card for goods and cannot be converted back into money or tokens; the sponsor is not in an excluded industry; the revised pool totals exactly 100%; and the change makes the voucher tier more likely rather than less, so no player is worse off than the card they saw when they spent their tokens. The request came from the sponsor in writing and the sponsor accepted publication as a condition.

What the approval did, and what it did not do. Approving the request created rate card RC-2026-14 as a draft. It changed nothing for players. The campaign kept running on the previous card for two more days, until the new card was published and shown on the crate screen. Anyone who opened a crate on 25 July got the odds they had been shown, not the approved ones.

Show these crates to the players who bet most often

ENQ-2026-124 · received 16/07

From Halden Loyalty Group · placement agency acting for a retail client · no sponsor record created.

"Our client wants the budget to work harder. Can the crates be shown to the segment that bets most often and opens the most crates — the top decile by activity? If naming the segment is a problem, an aggregated lookalike audience would do."

Enquiry closed 18/07 · no agreement entered · no data of any kind shared

Declined outright by Tom Whitfield · 18/07/2026. Ground: tibbi does not sell audiences. The people this agency describes as the top decile by activity are the people the service exists to help spend less, and pointing commercial reward mechanics at them would invert the purpose of the product. No filter of this kind exists in the configuration, and the answer would be the same if one did. The lookalike variant was refused on the same ground: it is the same request with the identifiers removed, and a segment narrow enough to be worth buying is narrow enough to identify a person.

Nothing was offered in its place. No reduced version, no trial, no referral to another team. The enquiry was answered in one paragraph and closed, and this record is kept so that the next agency asking the same question gets the same answer from whoever is in this seat.

Declined Mid-campaign change

Lift the top prize rate for the last fortnight and leave the published card alone

ENQ-2026-122 · received 14/07

From Elena Marsh · Riverside Grocers · Back to school campaign.

"Could we quietly lift the top prize to 3% for the last two weeks? We would rather not republish the card — changing the numbers halfway through will only confuse people who have already read them."

Requested change: rare tier 1.8% to 3.0% · without publication

Declined by Tom Whitfield · 15/07/2026. Ground: no rate in tibbi changes without the new card being published to players first, and there is no screen, setting or override anywhere in Manage that would allow it. The request was made in good faith — a more generous rate, offered kindly — and it still cannot be done, because a rate card players cannot rely on is worth nothing. A campaign that can be tuned in flight is a campaign nobody can check.

What was offered instead. The same change, requested properly: approved, drafted as a new rate card, and published before it applied. Riverside Grocers took that route on 22 July and the card went live on 26 July — see ENQ-2026-127 above.

Declined Excluded industry

Prospect enquiry #118 — sponsorship offer from a wagering group subsidiary

ENQ-2026-118 · received 09/07

From a sports media business whose parent company holds a majority interest in a licensed wagering operator. No sponsor record created, no partner portal account issued.

"We are the media arm, not the wagering arm — separate company, separate brand, separate staff. The placement fee would be at the top of your rate card and we are happy for the branding to be neutral."

Ownership checked against the company register · parent holds 74%

Declined by Tom Whitfield · 22/07/2026. Ground: the excluded industries policy covers a gambling business and any business that holds, or is held by, an interest in one. Alcohol and high-interest credit are excluded on the same basis. A separate brand and a neutral placement do not separate the money. A gambling-harm service funded in part by wagering revenue has nothing left to say, and the size of the fee is the reason to be more careful rather than less.

The enquiry record is kept in full. The declined entry also appears against the sponsor list so that the refusal is visible to anyone reviewing who tibbi takes money from.

What this queue cannot do. It holds no player data and never has: no names, no account identifiers, no betting history, no wellbeing scores. It cannot change a rate, a drop table or a stock level — the only route to those is the campaign configuration, and the only route to players is a published rate card. And it cannot be cleared in bulk. Every item leaves with a decision, a person's name and a date on it.
