Terms of use and 18+ declaration

Version 1.0 · last updated 27 July 2026. These terms sit behind the age check and set out exactly what this service is and is not.

The short version: tibbi is an educational tool. Tokens are not money and can never become money. The betting screen is a simulation and never places a real bet. If a run ends badly, betting is locked for seven real days and nothing you do will shorten that.

1. Age requirement — 18+

This service is for people aged 18 and over. When you create an account you declare your date of birth and confirm you are old enough. We keep a record of the check: the method, the time, and the result. It is an auditable record, not just a flag on your profile.

Giving a false age breaches these terms and the account will be closed. People under 18 can still read the public pages and use the support centre — what is blocked is the betting and life simulation.

2. What this service is

tibbi is an educational and early intervention tool about gambling harm. It is not a betting service, not an intermediary, not an agent, and not a referral channel for any bookmaker.

The betting screen inside the app is a simulation. Nothing that happens in it leads to real money, a real bet slip, or an account on any betting platform.

3. Tokens are not money and cannot become money

Tokens are an internal unit of count used for education. Specifically:

  • No monetary value. A token is not money, not a digital asset, not a payment instrument, and not a security.
  • They cannot be bought. There is no path that turns real money into tokens: no payment endpoint, no database field, no admin action, no in-app purchase, no promo code redeemable from money.
  • They cannot be cashed out. No withdrawal, no conversion, no refund, and no compensation in money under any circumstances, including if your account is closed or the service shuts down.
  • No secondary market. Tokens cannot be transferred between accounts. Buying or selling accounts to obtain tokens breaches these terms.
  • Only two sources of new tokens: completing a lesson, and reaching a fixed Showdown milestone. Every other token movement in the system derives from an amount already issued and can be traced back to it. Tokens cannot be bought, topped up, gifted or transferred.

The token ledger is append-only, so each of these statements can be checked with a reconciliation query rather than taken on trust.

4. What tibbi does not promise

  • It does not promise or imply that it will help you win real bets. No tips, no selections, no predictions.
  • It does not promise to cure or reduce your gambling. This is not medical treatment.
  • It does not promise that odds in the simulation match the live market at every moment. The data feed can lag or drop out.

If you win a lot in the simulation, that does not mean you are good at betting. Every summary in the app compares your actual win rate against the theoretical house edge, precisely to stop that reading.

5. The compulsory seven-day cooldown

When a run ends with your simulated life gone, your account is blocked from the betting simulation for seven real days. The block is enforced on the server against real time. There is no way to shorten it: not by spending tokens, not by contacting support, not by starting a new session. You agree to this when you create an account. Lessons and the knowledge arena stay open the whole time.

6. What you must not do

  • Give a false age or use someone else's identity.
  • Automate watching videos or answering quizzes to farm tokens.
  • Create a new account to get around a cooldown week.
  • Use tibbi content to promote a betting service.

7. Third party intellectual property

The odds data used in the simulation is licensed from a market data provider. Team and competition names shown in the app are anonymised — you will see Team A and Team B, never a real club.

The reason is straightforward: a licence for odds data does not include the right to use a league's or a club's trade marks. Anonymised names are the default and they stay that way.

8. Closing and deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time, without giving a reason, with no retention step in the way. Deleting refunds nothing because there is nothing to refund — tokens have no monetary value (clause 3). What happens to your data afterwards is set out in the privacy policy.
