Job
Tokens have no cash value. They cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money.
Risky actions
The consequences are written out before you press anything, not after. Choosing one opens a warning you have to read.
If the Job goes, here is what is waiting
Both routes are published now, while you still hold it, rather than at the moment you lose it. They sit at the same size on the recovery page, and neither is pushed below the other.
Learning
The Managing stress module โ four lessons, about seven minutes, no tokens and no chance involved. Completing it restores the Job if lost and slows the daily stress rise that costs people the job in the first place.
Open the moduleOne attempt
200 tokens for a single attempt at a new job, at exactly the published figure of 37%. If it fails the tokens are gone, the figure does not improve, and there is no discount for trying again.
See both ways backWhy the figure is 37% today
It starts at 45%. Your stress has sat above 60 on 9 of the last 12 days, and each full week above that line costs 8 points. There is a floor of 5% that it never falls below. The full formula is published here.
Before you give up the wages
40 Life Money a day can look small. Over the twelve days of run #3, the Job has added 480 Life Money without reducing your wallet tokens. Life Money and wallet tokens are separate ledgers; giving up the Job removes this daily Life buffer, not a source of learning tokens.
Other ways to get tokens
A 75-second lesson is +10 tokens, guaranteed, with no risk. A full Showdown run is worth up to 300 tokens.
๐ Lesson libraryWhat you cannot do here
There is no button to buy the Job back, no token top-up, and no staff account that can hand it to you. Losing it is meant to cost something, or the two ways back would mean nothing.
