Seven days without a bet
Do not place a simulated bet for seven days. Learning, the Showdown and your wallet all stay open the whole time. The reward is a badge, and only a badge.
Day 3 of 7
Progress is counted in whole days on our servers, not in hours and not by how often you open the app. There is no ticking clock on this page because watching one is its own kind of pressure.
A break is not a cooldown, and it is not enforced like one
tibbi does not close the betting floor while a break challenge is running. You can still open it and you can still place a bet — doing so simply ends the break, there and then. This is a commitment you made voluntarily, and a commitment that is taken away from you is not a commitment. A mandatory seven-day break after a run ends is the opposite: it is held server-side, it cannot be shortened, and support cannot lift it either.
What you see if you open the betting floor
Not a block, and not a lecture. One dialog, with a plain choice on it:
You are on day 3 of a seven-day break
Placing a bet ends the break and the “Seven clear days” badge goes with it. Nothing else changes: your wallet, your run and your lessons are untouched either way.
Go back · End the break and bet
The dialog appears once per visit, it does not repeat itself, and neither button is faded or hidden. It never says how much you have "invested" in the break so far, because sunk cost is the argument a bookmaker would use.
The three break tiers
| Tier | Length | Badge | Finish it |
|---|---|---|---|
| One weekend without opening the betting screen | 2 days | “One clear weekend” | 74% Estimate |
| Seven days without a bet running now | 7 days | “Seven clear days” | 41% Estimate |
| Thirty days without a bet | 30 days | “One month” · plus a profile title | 12% Estimate |
One break at a time. The thirty-day tier is hard, and the 12% is printed up front so you know what you are taking on rather than finding out four days in.
The rules
- Progress is counted in whole days. There is no timer, no deadline and no hours-remaining label anywhere.
- Placing a bet ends the break. It does not pause it, and there is no second chance credit.
- The reward is a badge, fixed and known in advance. It is never tokens and it is never multiplied by anything.
- Stopping early costs nothing, and you can start the same tier again immediately.
- Nothing about your break is shown to anyone else. There is no leaderboard and no comparison.
What the badge is worth
“Seven clear days” goes onto your badges and stays there. It cannot be converted into tokens, sold or transferred, and there is nothing you can stake with it. That is deliberate: a reward you can gamble is not a reward for not gambling.
What stays open all week
The lesson library, the Knowledge Showdown, your wallet and your simulated life are all unaffected. Lessons still pay their usual fixed +10.
📚 Lesson libraryIf seven days is the wrong size
A weekend is the easiest tier and an estimated 74% of people finish it. Starting there and finishing is worth more than starting here and stopping on day four.
In real life
BetStop, the national self-exclusion register, blocks you from every licensed Australian bookmaker for anything from three months to life. A break here is a rehearsal for that, somewhere nothing real is at stake — read about BetStop.
